Our Services

As with people, we understand that your pets may be diagnosed with complicated diseases or experience emergencies outside of regular business hours that may require emergency or specialty care. CARE Hospital is able to provide the community with board-certified veterinary specialists and after-hours emergency care servicing the Greater Fredericksburg Region. Never before has advanced veterinary medicine been so readily available for your pet within such close proximity to the City of Fredericksburg, and the neighboring Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford counties.  Our services offered at CARE include:

Our emergency department is here to help you through all evening, weekend and holiday emergencies. We understand that not all emergencies happen during the day, and we have well-trained, dedicated, and compassionate veterinarians and staff who are ready to help you and your pet at a moment’s notice. No appointments are necessary for ER care, but please do call ahead to let us know you are coming.

CARE’s surgery department works closely with owners and primary care veterinarians to provide expert surgical interventions for a wide range of surgical needs. Incorporating physical rehabilitation as part of our standard of care, our surgery department aims to provide your pet a comprehensive treatment plan of possible surgical procedures, rehabilitation and pain management.

Our board-certified surgeon is available four days a week, Monday through Thursday.

Unfortunately, as with people, our family pets are often diagnosed with cancer. CARE’s oncology department understands that this disease is not only physically demanding on your pet, but also very emotionally demanding for you and your family. Our board-certified Oncologist is dedicated in providing individualized cancer care, and helping you make the most informed decision possible for you and your pet.
